I have an apple ibook and when I turn it on the screen turns black?
I have this apple ibook and everytime i try turning it on, it turns on and i can hear the start up sound but the screen is black and i can’t see anything. How do I fix this problem?
Try putting in the disc marked “Software Restore” that shipped with your laptop. Hold down the “C” key to boot from the CD; it should boot up to the software restore screen. If the screen is still black, you may have a problem with the video card, the cable connecting the display to the card, or the display (screen) itself.
